Our plugin interacts with your WooCommerce store and Facebook (Meta) API. We access only the data necessary to perform syncing:

    • Used solely to sync your WooCommerce store with Facebook Product Catalogs.
  2. Authentication Data
    • Encrypted Facebook access tokens.
    • Stored securely in your WordPress database for API access.

    • Sync logs, timestamps, and errors to improve functionality.
    • Helps diagnose and troubleshoot sync issues.

How We Use Your Data

We use the data strictly for providing the plugin’s core functionality:

  • Sync products between WooCommerce and Facebook Catalogs in real-time.
  • Track product status (Synced, Pending Push, Pending Pull).
  • Provide error messages and troubleshooting guidance.
  • Ensure smooth operation of your product catalog management.

We do not: sell, rent, or share your data for marketing purposes.

Data Storage and Security

  • We implement industry-standard security measures to protect data from unauthorised access.
  • Product data is not stored on our servers. It is sent directly from your WooCommerce store to Facebook.
  • Authentication tokens are stored encrypted in your WordPress database.

Third-Party Services

Our plugin integrates with:

  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook): Product data is sent to your Facebook catalog. Refer to Meta’s Data Policy for details.

We do not share data with any other third-party services.

Your Rights

You have control over the data shared with our plugin:

  • Revoke Access: Remove our app’s permissions in Facebook Business Manager.
  • Deactivate Plugin: Disconnect the plugin from your store.
  • Access or Delete Data: All product mappings are stored in your WordPress database; you may delete them by uninstalling the plugin or clearing settings.

Deleting Your Data

You have the right to delete the data collected by our plugin at any time. You can do this easily by:

  • Disconnecting the Plugin: Go to WooCommerce → Facebook Sync and click “Disconnect.” This revokes the plugin’s access to your store and Facebook catalog.
  • Uninstalling the Plugin: Deleting the plugin from your WordPress site will remove all product mappings and any authentication tokens stored by the plugin.

No product data or authentication information is stored on our servers. Once disconnected or uninstalled, your data is fully removed from the plugin’s local storage.

WooCommerce Compliance Notes

To stay WC-compliant:

  1. Data Transparency: Inform users clearly what data is accessed.
  2. Secure Storage: Store tokens encrypted and product metadata locally.
  3. Access Control: Users can disconnect the plugin at any time.
  4. Limited Data Use: Only product and authentication data is used for syncing.
  5. Third-Party Disclosure: List all services your plugin communicates with.

Syncing Data with Facebook

  • We access only the information necessary to update your Facebook Catalog.
  • Product updates include titles, descriptions, price, SKU, and images.
  • Product mappings are tracked for future syncs.
  • No other personal customer data from WooCommerce (PII) is collected.

  • Our plugin does not use cookies or track users for marketing purposes.
