Before installing WooCommerce Facebook Catalog Sync, make sure your store meets the following requirements. This ensures a smooth setup and reliable syncing experience. Your site must meet these minimum versions:

Using the latest stable versions of WordPress and WooCommerce is strongly recommended.
Facebook Requirements #
You will need access to Facebook’s commerce tools:

A Facebook Business Manager account

At least one Facebook Product Catalog

A Facebook App with:

Catalog Management permission

OAuth enabled

You do not need to run Facebook Ads to use this plugin.
Required Permissions #
During setup, you must authorise the plugin to:

View and manage product catalogs

Read and update catalog items
These permissions are required only to sync product data and nothing else.
Store Preparation Checklist #
Before connecting, we recommend:

Ensuring products have clear titles and prices

Using unique SKUs where possible

Making sure products are published, not drafts

Verifying your Facebook catalog is active
This improves matching accuracy and prevents duplicates.
Hosting & Performance Notes #
The plugin is optimized for performance, but for best results:

Avoid aggressive object caching during the first sync
- Allow background tasks to run (WP Cron enabled)
