Before You Begin #

Make sure you have the following ready:

• A WordPress website with WooCommerce installed and activated

• Administrator access to your WordPress dashboard

• A Facebook Business Manager account

• Permission to manage a Facebook Product Catalog

Minimum Requirements #

• WordPress 5.0 or higher

• WooCommerce 5.0 or higher

• PHP 7.4 or higher

Step 1: Install the Plugin #

Installing WooCommerce Facebook Catalog Sync takes just a few minutes. This guide walks you through every step, from plugin installation to preparing your Facebook account.

Option 1: Install via WordPress Admin (Recommended) #

1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard
2. Go to Plugins → Add New
3. Search for WooCommerce Facebook Catalog Sync
4. Click Install Now
5. Once installed, click Activate

Option 2: Upload the Plugin Manually #

1. Download the plugin ZIP file
2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
3. Upload the ZIP file
4. Click Install Now
5. Click Activate

Step 2: Verify WooCommerce Is Active #

The plugin requires WooCommerce to function. To confirm:

1. Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins
2. Ensure WooCommerce is installed and activated

If WooCommerce is not active, the plugin will not run.

Step 3: Access the Plugin Dashboard #

After activation:

1. Go to WooCommerce → Facebook Sync
2. You should see the plugin setup screen
3. If this is your first time, you’ll be prompted to connect to Facebook

Step 4: Prepare Your Facebook Account #

Before connecting, ensure the following in Facebook Business Manager:

• You have Admin or Catalog Manager access
• A Product Catalog exists
  (You can create one in Commerce Manager → Catalogs)
• You have or will create a Facebook App with Catalog permissions

Step 5: Ready for Setup 🎉 #

Once the plugin is installed and WooCommerce is active, you’re ready to connect your store to Facebook.
