Before You Begin #
Make sure you have the following ready:

A WordPress website with WooCommerce installed and activated

Administrator access to your WordPress dashboard

A Facebook Business Manager account

Permission to manage a Facebook Product Catalog

Step 1: Install the Plugin #
Installing WooCommerce Facebook Catalog Sync takes just a few minutes. This guide walks you through every step, from plugin installation to preparing your Facebook account.
Option 1: Install via WordPress Admin (Recommended) #
- Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard
- Go to Plugins → Add New
- Search for WooCommerce Facebook Catalog Sync
- Click Install Now
- Once installed, click Activate
Option 2: Upload the Plugin Manually #
- Download the plugin ZIP file
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Upload the ZIP file
- Click Install Now
- Click Activate
Step 2: Verify WooCommerce Is Active #
The plugin requires WooCommerce to function. To confirm:
- Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins
- Ensure WooCommerce is installed and activated
If WooCommerce is not active, the plugin will not run.
Step 3: Access the Plugin Dashboard #
After activation:
- Go to WooCommerce → Facebook Sync
- You should see the plugin setup screen
- If this is your first time, you’ll be prompted to connect to Facebook
Step 4: Prepare Your Facebook Account #
Before connecting, ensure the following in Facebook Business Manager:
- You have Admin or Catalog Manager access
- A Product Catalog exists
(You can create one in Commerce Manager → Catalogs) - You have or will create a Facebook App with Catalog permissions
